Sizing chart for back feet (B = Back):
Size - Hoof length - Hoof width

The boots are manufactured in individual sizes based on an optimum model. In fact, horse hooves have a number of deviations. Consequently, hoof length is also important because the hoof must be in contact with the sole throughout the surface in the boot. If it is not correctly positioned and the rear part is raised, there is a risk of damage to the boot or foot injury. Practice has proven that it is better if the hoof has a certain (small) amount of free space in the boot rather than if the boot is pulled on the hoof using force. For this reason, we have decided to add an insertable insole to the boots that can also eliminate the difference in the case of a trimmed hoof.
After the whole range of soles is completed also for rear hooves, which are heavier, we will have the opportunity to manufacture boots even if the front hoof is narrower than the chart sizes.
How to measure the hoof correctly
1. Hoof width
Measure the hoof at the widest part of the hoof. Always measure horizontally, not diagonally.
2. Hoof length
Measure the length of the hoof from the toe of the hoof to the heel line - vertically, not diagonally.

How to choose the correct size
To choose the size of boots correctly, it is essential to measure the length and width of the hoof. Conduct the measurements on a clean and smooth hoof, preferably after the hoof has been groomed, when it has a natural shape. When making a choice take the hoof shape into account – if it is atypical, we recommend an individual consultation.
